The Lunar Circle: Our Membership Community

Monthly support for your creative practice—starting at $5/month (or free)!

What Is The Lunar Circle?

The Lunar Circle is our Patreon community, the beating heart of Full Moon Fiction. It's where you'll find weekly prompts, monthly workshops, writing sprints, and writers who understand the struggle and the magic of this creative life.

We have three paid tiers and one free tier. Yes, really free, not a temporary trial. Everyone deserves access to creative community. Come by ours. We'll make sure you feel at home.

  • First access to limited spots - virtual retreats, in-person events (when they launch), beta programs, and collaborations. You get the invite before anyone else.

  • Free entry to ALL virtual events - workshops, retreats, special sessions. If FMF hosts it virtually, you're in.

  • Named in the annual thank-you - your name (or pen name) on the FMF website and in any community zines or anthologies we publish. You're building this with us.

FAQ Section

Q: Do I have to pay to be part of FMF? A: No. We have a free tier (Starlight) that gives you access to monthly newsletters, free event invites, and blog posts. You're part of the community whether you pay or not.

Q: Can I cancel anytime? A: Yes. Patreon memberships are month-to-month. Cancel whenever you need to.

Q: What if I can't afford $5/month right now? A: Join the free tier. When your situation changes, we'll be here.

Q: What if I don't write horror? A: You're still welcome. While FMF has a horror/weird fiction focus, we support writers in all genres. The craft principles apply across the board.

Q: How is this different from other writing communities? A: We're explicitly built with accessibility in mind—recognizing that not everyone has the same energy, time, or resources. We work with your creative cycles, not against them.
